Welcoming back an old garden friend
I first noticed this Crab spider a couple of days ago when it was on stake out duty on one of our tulips. Be aware. there will probably be more photos of teh mmembers of teh species Misumena vatia that inhabit my garden as the year progresses!

It is still snowing here and the locals had a white Easter.
Now if those spiders get a bit lager they might be on Bebe's hunting list.
I let Earl out for a few hours and he nailed a Gray Squirel again. He dismembers them but does not eat them. He preffers Rotissere Chicken
heated and liverwurst cold.
Luckily they are about half an inch across.. Much bigger and Bebe would be on their hunting list!
Our ccats ar elike that, vatch, disembowel and leave. I presume chicken and liverwurst are more up Earl's street!
Earl is just lazy and pampered. He never complaims and eats almost anything including squid stufffed with crabmeat.
I will have to take him back in for the big block party in town.
