Oh no the human's got his camera out....

Cats seem to have a genuine contempt for cameras, don't they? Maybe they believe we're out to steal their souls, when we point out lenses at them. Or worse still, out to steal their food.
I've joined this one, too, Shaunie! My first effort is an illustrated tale involving an oversized Leo and a small box.
The beast awakens... he is not pleased... only food can placate him!
I think cats must be able to see the flash through their eyelids, or perhaps they hear the charging of the flash. Either way, Stella's kitties rarely sleep through the camera, no matter how quiet I am in opening it. I know that expression well!
I have excellent high frequency hearing and can hear the whine of the capacitor as it charges for the flash. Cats have a much higher range so they can definitely hear it even before the arc of the xenon flash tube.
They also tend not to close their eyelids all the way when they sleep, so it will definitely be seen.
As big as he is, I'm not sure I would go around annoying Robyn.
Beans is always tryin to get pictors when we's sleepin, an wif the flash it's efun worst. How'd they like it if we flashed pictors of them while they's sleepin, huh? Place yur next hairball carefully. Revenge is not sweet, it's sticky an wet. Muwahahahaha (Mom likes yur pitors. She don't unnerstand)
I can't ever get decent pictures of our dog Reagan, even when he's asleep. He wakes up immediately and lunges for the camera. He's the Sean Penn anti-papparazzi of the canine world.

I do miss Earl the always hungry cat. He is well fed but will knock of squirrels, rats mice, birds after eating all day.
I am on my way to GA for training for six weeks. Then it is off to Kansas City and Houston.

LOL Bebe just runs away sadly when teh camera comes out. Reafan is a handsome fellow. I wish you had more photos of him!
