Photo Hunt - Thankful

The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is Thankful. I am thankful to my parents who did everything they could to ensure that my sister and I had the opportunities that they never had when young.

Jams this is a wonderful post and tribute to your parents.

I no longer have either one of mine and I miss them very much.

Thanks for dropping by to visit me. I cleaned my house, played catch up on the phone with my family, played with my pets, ate like a small pig, slept like a baby, and I am up and ready to go.

Thanks for this wonderful and very heartfelt post this week.

I've spending today catching up with my blog-reading today, as I've not done much since that horrid mugging incident. I'm so sorry to hear that you lost little Mimi - I've only just found out. I can't understand how I missed your post - I guess that's what having a knife at your throat does for you. Little Mimi was lucky to have been taken in by you and the not-wife - most people won't consider adopting a disabled pet - and she will have had a wonderful, happy life with you and the other kitties. Once again, I'm so sorry to hear about her loss, and also, sorry to be so late in offering my sympathies. Take care...
