The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

WW - Camellia
This week's entry for the Tuesday and Wednesday edition of Wordless Wednesday.
We can't grow camellias at our house. Our thumbs are the wrong colors-for sure not green! I hope you have a lot of those to look at around, we do but it is a little early yet.
Happy WW/T! (mine is postdated Wednesday only) Thanks for your visit! ..
What a great image. At first I thought it had modified colors, with the background set to black-and-white and the foreground to red. But on closer look, it's just very well lit.
So beautiful and regal looking. Besides.. red is my favorite color!
I'd like to invite you to join my weekly Heads Or Tails meme. It's played on Tuesdays. You can find everything you need to know about it on my right sidebar. :) It's a lot of fun and yesterday we had 58 participants. (End of spam. LOL.)
Very pretty. I was out enjoying my camellias this morning. It's so sad to think they'll be gone in a month.Oh well, something to look forward to. By the way, I grew up hearing the expression poor mouth and poor mouthing all the time. Love your blog!
