The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Ah no he's not ill but he is looking pretty decrepit. We thought he was going downhill few months ago but he bounced back. We won't have him for too much longer though
Bless him. My sister's cat friend is also wearing down. She's a skinny little old lady now and very delicate. I was honoured with some cuddles from her last weekend; very gentle cuddles.

I may have missed something along the way of knowing you, Jams but is Robyn ill?

Bless him. Just want to give him a gentle pat. I am sure you give him plenty though.
He still gets plenty of affection!
Looks like the old boy is contentedly enjoying the moment!
I think he does Knat!

Another lovely photo of him.
Such a great old guy!
He looks rather like our old fellow did, but they don't leave until they're good and ready! Long live Robyn!
Lovely pic! Looks like he's thinking and reminiscing of a life well lived.
Thanks! He still seems to be alert and his appetite is bigger than ever! He has had a good life for sure
Oh-oh. Looks just like our big guy two years ago before we were forced to put him to sleep. Hope yours will keep for some time.
I hope so Snoopy but if he is suffering we won't prolong his agony
One of our Cats is looking like a cartoon cat with his fur all messy. He is quite old and creaky and deaf. He still thinks he is in charge tho ^_^
Poor old Robyn isn't up to putting the others in their place anymore. A couple of years ago he was still the undsiputed boss though
