The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Well this is an improvement. One does not replace a true genius like Ted.However, Jack will have to find his own way around and not be bullied by Bebe, Satan cat and ignored by Borris and Robyn. The true genius of Ted was combining evil with laziness. This has never been done before or since. He is more photogenic then the rest so he is a worthy addition.
Jack is a very handsome fellow!!! Those emerald eyes are captivating!!!!
Thanks Kay He's very handsomeAh Beak there is no replacement to Ted per se. Jack does swear a lot so far.So we shall see how he fits in
Ah... He's a beauty, especially with the cute little black patch on the end of the nose. I hope he has Father Jack's fine independent streak, and the propensity to swear will be fine too so long as it is in pussycat language, but I hope his ears do not grow to deposit wax sufficient make candles, as did Father Jack's. Looks like he may be the perfect blend of Father Jack and PussyCat though. Thanks for the pictures.
What a handsome boy!
He is a handsome fellow Don Perhaps hes trying to assert himself in a house full of adult and larger catsAh thanks TB!
Jack has some very wicked paws to fill, but he looks willing enough, and young enough to cause some bother before he finds his place in the hierarchy of the household.
He certainly is feisty little thing so we shall see how he fits in Bryan! Thanks Claude!
Drink! Feck! Arse! Girls!
Almost, but not quite, makes a subject for the Kitler series. Good addition to the family, it looks like. Any fights already?
No fighting... well Bebe put him in his place and he slunk off and hid under the stairs for a while.....
Yay! Hello Jack!
