The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Your cat looks bored. Dance, you fool, dance! The cat demands that you amuse and humour her.
Oh she leads us a merry dance, don't you worry about that ewbl!
Do your wicked animals post YOUR pic on Fridays? Or a nice sausage pic, because I know no cat who wouldn't prefer a sausage to his-her master. (depends who is the master, the cat or the poor idiotic human).
Master? I know I am their slaves, nothing else Red!
I wonder what your cat is looking at...
Knowing Mimi it is probably an alternate universe!
Mimi is contemplating how to evade my friend and former colleague, also named Mimi, who lives in Amsterdam and scrapes catgut with horsetails for a living. (Yes, I know; baroque violin strings are really sheep gut. Mimi has nothing to fear from Mimi, especially as Mimi is highly allergic to cats.)
looks more like greta garbo giving it 'i want to be alone'
Eeek your friend Mim is may dear Mimi's worst noightmare Steve!!! I jest of course. It is rare she does a Garbo Mulet. She loves nothing better to be sat on us purring and getting attention
It's a sort of "If I must, I will permit this" look.
Aren't e all taken on sufferance by cats, Bryan!
