The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Mission of Burma - That's When I reach for My Revolver
I was one of those who came across Mission of Burma courtesy of the Moby cover of this song. Ah well better late than never!
Something funny happened last week. I had the XM radio on that alternative station when my oldest daughter turned to me and said it sounded like that Robyn Hitchcock guy that jams likes. Guess what? It was The Soft Boys!
I'm missing my XM radio. Papi hasn't installed it in the new truck yet. I forgot how horrible mainstream radio and their endless commercials and repetitive playlists are.
Lol ewbl, I really must send you a decent compilation of Robyn's stuff... Comercial radio can be just as bad here. If I spent any time in the car I would get one of those satellite radio thingies. Glad you are mobile again. I hope you are feeling okay after the shunt
