It makes it look creepy even though it's beautiful.
Hi Jams. Thanks for visiting my blog and giving me your opinion on that photo. I cropped it as you suggested... and another way too. Drop on by if you have a moment and see how you like it now.

How beautiful - looks like a postcard... Happy WW!
This is rather doleful.
My thoughts run to those who initially installed these steps. Where does this path take one?
Thanks all I took it at the same time as last week's. It leads up through a wood to some rare black poplar trees
Wow. Oh, I really like that. Would make a great book cover!
Wow, thats a really cool pic, but also a bit spooky so get extra points!
Now, this reminds me of a place we lived in Yorkshire. It had a walled garden which had been untouched for many years....
I love it. Happy memories are flooding back. The project of restoring it was a great task, but after 18 months, we did it!

~smile~
Very nice shot! I'd like to see what's around the corner.
I'll try again - I'd love to be heading through that scene this very minute, but more so in the autumn when the leaves are crackly underfoot.
Wow, that is an awesome photo.

Don't know what it is about steps and stairways but I love photographing them too. Great shot.
Thanks for stopping by!
Very nice, like a painting.
Infra-red, or 100 years old? ;-)
Very majestic looking! Happy WW!!
Thanks all. Actually no infra red at all Chris. Just Blak and White, sepia tone and a little play with teh contrast setting
That's really beautiful, Jams. Thanks for showing it to us.
Happy WW.
ARF, bark bark.
I'd love to go for a walk there, it looks beautiful.
Happy Woofless Wednesday. I'm all out of doggy cookies to serve you, but please come by anyway.
That is a beautiful picture!!! Sometimes B&W or sepia tone nature pictures can be even more effective than color and this is one of those!
