The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
A unique place in its way, Jams, isn't it. So far didn't miss to at least drop by. A quiet and peaceful atmosphere, especially when there are no tourists around. I wonder that seldom one would see photos taken inside. The stairways are interesting, and from the top you may have a marvellous view southwards, the more when the weather is fine.

Wow. The colors are smashing!
Someone always leaves something behind.
That's an impressive and imposing structure — and lovely surroundings. I've never been.
What an interesting structure.
Thanks. It is a wonderful place to visit. It dates from the 1st century CE/AD
I enlarged it for a better look - amazing

It's a great place to visit. This is my second trip to see it (the first was many moons ago)
I have quite a few pics of the inside I intend to play with.
