Ted at rest

And the very first photo taken with my brand new camera body, a Nikon D700

Innocent little front paws eh? Tucked away so neatly, never done a moment's mischief. Who is Ted trying to kid?

Great photo, Jams. But Ted is a great subject. I'm just studying that pose. It looks so comfy. Maybe I'll sleep better if I can copy it.

D700? Wow, man, you are certainly going places. Good body, although it's a Canon person speaking...

There are times that butter wouldn't melt in his mouth Andrew.. It doesn't last long!

I hope your spine is flexible Claude!

Ah I felt the standard of my photography could stand the purchase. I thought I would spend some of my redundancy money on a serious kit upgrade

Wow!
You are newly unemployed and you bought a new camera!

That's the best thing to do in the circumstances!!!

I did exactly the same thing many years ago (also a Nikon as it happens)

It's something I've coveted but I wanted something with better performance than the D200 which has seen me in good stead.

How did you manage to take the pic with just a camera body?

You're bloody smart!

That's how good I am Calum!

There is no such thing as a bad photo of that handsome lad...

Now that is very true!

OK, admit it, Ted nicked it for you, that's why he rated the first pic ;)

A seriously nice body, and there is certainly a wide selection of lenses to choose from.

At least Ted is always fashionable and well groomed. Always take your fashion and grooming tips from Ted.

Has anyone seen Satan Cat and Ted in the same room. Ted has too much sense to get involved with a fight he can not win.

Ah bak I don't have the flexible spine or the rasping tongue to follow Ted's grooming tips... If only I did!
