Spring Garden flowers
A Spring Snowflake (Leucojum vernum) and a Snakeshead Fritillary (Fritillaria melaegris. Taken in my garden yesterday.
I am not in the best of places at the moment. Blogging will be rather more sporadic for a while.

When I was where you are I took a vacation from myself. I didn't have much cash and I was a pain in the @$@#$ to my family.
1) A samll amount of volunteer work helps. It gets you out of the house and migling. You could probably assist in any number of immigration advocacy groups.
2) Being out helps you network which is super important.
3) Reading Yate helps. Know that you are not alone and that you will see better days ahead.

Been there Jams. I thought I was washed up at 35. I reinvented myself and had an even better chapter ahead.
I didn't even grasp how many organizations need help with immigration matters. Battered womens shelters always need folks that know the system. Homeless shelters always have one or two cases about.
Your skills are invaluable to many people in need.
Your flower images are just wondeful, Shaun. I imagine an exhibition space, all white walls, with your flowers wrapped in black backgrounds, mounted very simply to enhance their inherent elegance. One wall of ones like these two beauties and another wall of ones more abstract or surreal, one wall black and white and one wall I'll leave blank for your own imagination to fill.
