Stillnot blogging with enthusiasm

Much as I intned to keep the Poor Mouth going it's been hard recently to keep up the enthusiasm.Perhpas that is because of various things going on in real life and not just my uncle.

I think time for another rest. It may only be for a few days it may be for a bit longer.

Hey, Shaun. Time to take care of and concentrate on yourself and the people in your life. While I admit that it's not easy to let go of one's blog for a length of time or to be sporadic with posts, if it's not a pleasure and becomes instead a bother or an obligation, it's perhaps a good thing to examine your priorities...as you are doing now.

I went through a long period this past winter and well into spring where I had no enthusiasm for blogging or anything else for that matter. Though I am now feeling all-around much better about things, I'm still not as enthusiastic as I used to be and it's an effort to come up with new and interesting art-related stuff to post. I'm very hard on myself when it comes to my blog. It's never good enough, I'm not knowledgeable enough...

I'm at an okay place with TPS but I just can't get that old feeling back, as they sometimes say in songs. Still, I trudge on only because of the connections I've made through blogging. Sometimes I'm even encouraged by my blog stats, which indicate hundreds of hits a day from people doing searches for information. If a few people enjoy it and if it's helpful to people even when they don't comment, then it's enough fuel to keep me going.

See you whenever you feel it's a good time to blog again.

Your friend,
Gina

Never let it become your master or a chore, Dear Shaun.

Take care of yourself. Sounds obvious but sometimes we need to remind ourselves of the need to do so.

THanks. I don't want to give up on the Poor Mouth after all these years. Perhaps I'll post a little less frequently

Well, perhaps something will turn up, like another fire devil. That was interesting. I wouldn't like to be in a glider at the top of that particular thermal.

Remember when recently I ceased blogging for over a month? I was so unsure if I wanted to continue or not but I have continued albeit with less of a sense of needing to post every, every day and at the same time on each of those days. Strange, these self-imposed rigours!
I, for one, (and I'm sure I'm not alone) would miss you if you did stop blogging completely. That, of course, is no good reason for you to continue but conveys, I hope, my appreciation.
'Do what you love; love what you do' springs to mind, though I realise that's not always possible.
Sending you wishes for peace and happiness, Shaun. x

Sometimes it is nice to have a rest it leads to feeling refreshed.

Your blog has always been a great place to visit and I'm sure it will continue to be so. Meanwhile, take what time you need in order to refresh your energy.

Jams

Actually I started my blog when I was out of work. I have less time to post as work is draining my life blood.

I understand times are tough but you will make it.

What is the legality of forms preparation in the UK. In the States
form preperation is a huge business.
A preparer gets $200.00 per form.

Thanks Beak. I will be back fully in the sing. Not sure about form preparers here. I'll have to look it up
