Red Dwarf is back for a series tonight after a 13 year absence (excludiing Back to Earth that was shown on Dave a few years back which was terrible). I hope that it is as good as earlier series of the show but I'm not holding my breath. I'll know sometime around 9.40 whether it was worth watching.It's on the cable channel Dave at 9m

I enjoyed it. Several laugh alouds. You neeed to know the history to appreciate though. I do like that trasmogrified Cat
It wasn't bad at all. I was fearing something like Back to Earth
Of course it is wholly implausible and inaccurate in the eyes of those, like me, who really travel through the stars, but it is a good laugh nonetheless, and the transmogrification of cats into people is all true. Do you want to submit Ted to that project? I could fix it up for you.

It works in reverse too... I am afraid to tell you who that Devil Cat that visits your garden used to be, but it was a pretty desperate way to escape the death that everyone thinks he suffered. At least there is some comfort in knowing he has to spend his days licking his own bum now. No wonder he gets angry.
