The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

I keep on saying it but right now I just a not in the mod to blog.I will try to visit my favourite blogs but Black Dog is visiting
I prefer the comparison to weather. The gloomy clouds come but sit them out and they generally also go. There are also things that can help blow them away but of course they are hardest things to do when under the gloom.
My best wishes won't do much good but you have them anyway.
I'm sorry to hear that Shaun. I've got a black dog following me around too. I too am finding it difficult to post and comment. May the rotten buggers leave us soon. x
I known the feeling, though I am in remission right now and life feels really good. Just remember that. Last year around this time, I was so depressed, I couldn't put one foot in front of the other for months to do something about it.
I know you will come through it. Sending you fond wishes and a virtual hug.

Sending you my best, Jams. Things will improve one day, hopefully before long.
If the Black Dog is depression then what is the Black Cat..... The Black Cat is Satan Cat.
A comment I left previously has gone missing. What it said was essentially the same message others have left - hope you feel better soon.
