The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Oh and have a good St Patrick's Day....
I can't understand why anyone would dye beer green though. Try a pint of Creme de Menthe instead, it get's the job done quicker and your breath smells great...
Ah, St.Patrick's Day. We're eating leprechaun kabobs to celebrate the occasion! A friend of mine used to swig down minty mouthwash swearing that it made his burps smell delightfully fresh.
I have to be careful because not wearing green gets you a pinch. But green is well known as the horny color and wearing it comes at great peril since I already have six kids. Dilemma.
Please not the dreaded Harrigan song. It took met eleven hours to drive from the Canaian border to NJ. In the middle of the Adirondac Park radio reception is limited. I think the Harrigan song was on every station.
Dyeing perfectly good beer green is akin (in my opinion) to parachuting out of a perfectly good airplane. - andante
Ah... another "wuffo"! That's what a coworker, who happened to be seven times U.S. women's style champion in parachuting, called me. She says it derives from the exclamation, "Wuffo you wanna jump out of a perfectly good airplane?"
jams, I took your advice... no green beer. At the shop, I had my hand on a large bottle of Guinness, but remembered everything I had to do the following day and thought better of it. I love Guinness; Guinness does not love me.

Enjoy, but get their gold first!
Hmm going green has a totally different meaning then!

How did that song get mixed into St Patricksday.

Ah I take it Wuffo is a contraction of what the fuck?
Good advice to take Steve. Guiness is good when you dont have major plans the folowing day!

"Wuffo" = "What for".
Ah I asumed the crude option!
