The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

My Angel - Rock Goddess
I've always been a partial to a bit of HM. Rock Goddess made a minor splash in the 80s then faded away. I saw them at university (late 81 or early 82?) teamed with a band called the Androids of Mu.

if you don't mind may i invite you to participate in my new photo meme every monday. thanks and have a good day!
I know what you mean about the dancing ewbl. On the other hand the glammish makeovers given to the likes of Girlschool totally screwed them up as credible artists.
The one time I saw them Jimmy they were pretty good, There was only a hundred or so at the concert. Needless to say the Androids of Mu were draedful though!
Hoi when will you start blogging Jimmy. The world of Melodic Rock needs you to spread the word in the blogosphere!

sorry forgot the link...
Thanks for the offer. I will consider it.
I hate the music, but I can tell that they were obviously the first in this kind of chick rock movement.
This must have been in the days before the rocker chicks got some choreographers. Talk about your awkward dancing.....
Saw them several times at the Marquee. Thought they were great at the time. Always put on a good show.
