The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
i see your lumpies lay atop you and the not wife too :) mine seem to always want to pick the lap that is sitting in the smallest chair.
That would appear to be Bebe, Robyn, and the not-wife, unless Ted has made a coat of Bebe.People I forget, but I'm pretty good with cats.It is apparently essential that any available human lap be occupied lest another cat wonder by.
They prefer the not-wife over me Betmo. I'm more restless than she is.Correctly identified Bryan. There is that tendency. Ted will not try to go near Robyn and Bebe will not let Mimi curl up next to her so things are a little more complicted. Mimi has a penchant for my shoulder but she invariably falls off!
How tubby are them cats? They look very content. P.S...I like your coffee mugs.
Surprisingly not very tubby Nunyaa! Bebe, the one sprawled out isactually quite a titch! Robyn on the right is 16lbs but his is a very large cat when he uncurls! The mugs are by Denby
That's the not-wife?? I love her hair colour! And, she is shy like me. :D
An all round lovely photograph :-)
It is indeed LB. SHe doesn't desperately like to be photographed. THe placing of the mug was not deliberate. Thanks Cherie!
So now we see why you're a happy man.
Indeed. what man would be unhappy if he has two furry tabbies!
That photo suggests "good life" to us :)
Oh it certainly is for Robyn and Bebe catsynth!
What nice lap kitties! How cute!
Not-Wife is cat furniture! Is she lergic? We's alway attracted to the lergic beans.
Thanks. They definitely are a fine pair of lap cats. Victor, the not-wife is not allergic to cats, mercifully!
My eyes like what they see.:)This comment comes deliberately late.Seriously: Lovely shot, Jams.
Glad you like it Sean!
Jams, I'd love to visit you, your cats, and Ireland sometime. I’d like to tell you that I’ve written a scathingly funny book, The World Is Your Litter Box, which will be out in May here in the U.S.. The book is cleverly disguised as a cute cat book so humans will buy it, but is, in fact, a how-to manual FOR cats. Check it out on my website, www.theworldisyourlitterbox.com.
