The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
This reminded me of when my brother was a game keeper in Tomintoul. He sent a hunk of frozen venison in the mail to my mum. When it arrived it was dripping with blood like a body part. I am sure that nowadays you would get arrested if you tried that.
Oh never mind. I see the answer now, above my question LOL Farmed so the park can pay for itself. No wonder you were able to catch so many in a photo. Great photo it is too.

Aww Snoopy if I put up a photo of a duck you'd see it swimming orange sauce!
They were Dragonstar
Hmm Colin, if I was delivering a bloody package I would be rather suspicious!
You need to tell me how I can get such a good photo of deer!
Aren't they beautiful animals? Are these deer semi-tame?
Only two does and all those stags? That should be interesting.
Ah I pointed and shot cherie!
They are Nunyaa. Actually they are farmed. One of the ways the park pays for itself
mercifully there were plenty of other does just out of camera shot!
Why do the stags have tags in their ears? Are they on a farm somewhere or an animal preserve?

Thanks static brain. There's no way I could have phtographed so many deer together otherwise!
