The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Old news but watching the rats doing their thing never ceases to amaze me.

I agree Poons. I had two rats - Rancid and Cuddles. Rancid was such an affectionate little fellow, Cuddles was a little timid.
I would love to have rats even now but with four cats in the house, maybe not a good idea!
