The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

I remember Kerry being both grey-rocky and very, very green, all at once. I've only visited there one time. I'd love to return.

County Kerry, glad to say I have been there. And I think it looked like that! ha ah. It was November so it was cold and drizzling.
