The British Museum is my favorite place in London, and one that I will miss from down here.

Quite inspiring, that's true. Plus your site was easier to access today.

Jams, a few people have mentioned you in connection with being a Panellist. Let me put the hard sell on you later in the week. :)

That's a great shot. I visiting the British museum in 1974 when I was a teenager. I imagine there have been lots of changes. I wish I could go back. Carver Wordless

I would like to visit the British Museum. I have been there, just sat in the foyer for a moment and went out another door than the one I where I entered.

Mrs. Jim visited last time she was in London and got to see the Rosetta Stone. I am envious of the both of you.
..
Tonight we are in Salina, Kansas, and hoping to be in Nebraska tomorrow.

What, no flower photo this week? Seriously, this is a wonderful image. I wonder if any one person ever has seen all there is to see in the British Museum?

Gorgeous photo! I love the angle from which you have caught all the wonderful angles and shapes and textures... and the black and white makes it richer and more dramatic I think.

Stunning shot, amazing lines, and I love your choice of black and white. It makes the geometrics that much more arresting.

lareine said...

the geometric lines are great! it gives the museum a modern look (as oppose to the "stuffy" stereotype look of museums)... this is a wonderful shot (and using black and white adds more emphasis to the pattern)...

I love everything about this shot - the black & white, the foreground, the background and the way the circular pattern of the ceiling radiates from part of the foreground. Really nice.
