H1Z1 virus reaches Colchester?
Further to earlier news there are reports that a sign in Colchester is warning motorists to turn back, leading to fears that an outbreak of H1Z1 has now occurred there.

That is... brilliant.
Shame its only Colchester in the US and not Essex. I did see a website a while back that had detailed instructions on how to re-program these displays. (no link - can't remember it)
It turns out that the majority are left unattended and still set to the factory default password, so not too difficult.
Shows more wit than whoever hacked our car park signs in Crawley so that instead of displaying the number of spaces or "Full" they just said "Fuck off" although, to be honest, we were still amused by that.
Glad you like it Skuds. If I knew how to reprogramme them I would be inclined to put up strange philosphical quotyes.. but Fuck off is perfectly good too!
I'm reminded of the boy who cried wolf. You won't be laughing when you drive past a sign saying "Zombie Invasion!!!!!!!" (I love the extra exclamation points, as if you need to emphasise the seriousness of the situation), only to discover it's not a joke... Although change it to "Drunken Aggressive Sexually Frustrated Zombie Punch-Up!!!!!!!" and it sounds like a Saturday night in Leicester (where I lived at one stage).
