Lime Hawk Moth

Not a rare moth by any means but still a welcome visitor to our garden. Shame I couldn't get a shot from the front

I always thought that a moth was a pest. We used to put moth balls with our wool blankets to protect them. Is this the samething? Good photo.

Ah Claude this is not a clothes moth, they are tiny things and it is the caterpillars that do the damage.


Snoopy, Knat it is definitely a handsome creature. I love moths

I must admit it did take some manipulation to remove the water and the dog like attributes!

Ah cherie what a beautiful moth. There is nothing to be scared of. They are just a beautiful part of nature
