The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Ah wonderful! Cats so love nestling in boxes don't they? So long as there's no lid like on the cat carrier that they know means a visit to the vet. The vet's must be an awful place for them, apart from being prodded and poked imagine what they are smelling.. and hearing! It's a particularly lovely photo of a particularly handsome boy in a particularly comfy box. Jack the cat used to sit in boxes whenever there was one around and I also remember my beloved sister once sitting/hiding in the big box that the 'hoover' lived in.

I see the cardboard cat trap is working very well!
To perfection!
Cosy! I've always wanted a well-fitting, properly insulated box. Might see if there's any up for grabs at the shop.
I'm sure Boris would budge up, Stan!
Ha! Well, in that case..

You'll both be very comfortable!

That's true. They all howl piteously at the vet. Robyn will have to go to the vet. While he's in good shape for nearly 18, he's losing weight.
Boris is disgustingly handsome isn't he?
