Good Knee News

Went to see my consultant today who is very pleased with the way my knee has improved after the arthroscopy last month.

It certainly feels good not to need a walking stick and to climb and descend stairs without it hurting like hell!

I even got photos of the meniscus layers to keep as a souvenir... (to be scanned and posted in due course!)

Getting my leg back into action is going to be a slow grind

The Cast has been off for nearly a week and is still very stiff and painful. While I can get about with the aid of crutches, I can't go very far without pain and tiredness. I also find that if I sit at the computer for any length of time my knee seizes up.


Visiting and commenting is going to be rather light for a while although I hope to keep the drivel flowing here!

Still I've got the makings of a cool scar so all is not grim by any means...
