Getting my leg back into action is going to be a slow grind

The Cast has been off for nearly a week and is still very stiff and painful. While I can get about with the aid of crutches, I can't go very far without pain and tiredness. I also find that if I sit at the computer for any length of time my knee seizes up.

Visiting and commenting is going to be rather light for a while although I hope to keep the drivel flowing here!

Still I've got the makings of a cool scar so all is not grim by any means...

I hope we'll get to see a pic of that cool scar!

There's no need of flowing drivel's wealth, / if it's not contributing to your health.
Take care of yourself, Jams!

A cool scar, huh? Now that is really stretching it for something positive to say.
Good luck with the rehabilitation.

Hope it gets better fast! And that the scar gets you lots of "cool" points!

That does sound painful! Hope it gets better soon.

And yes, that scar could score some serious points on a future Wordless Wednesday :)

Many years ago, I broke a bone in my knee while using a shovel! The break went undiagnosed until it was finally caught by an MRI. Get all of the rehab you can and don't risk anything! And take two aspirin and call me in the morning...smiles.
I think scars, guys and testosterone all fit in the same sentence!
Hope you feel much better real soon.
~~~Blessings~~
Just think of this 'slowing' down as a vacation. I hope you're going to be up to running again soon.
Need a masseuse? For your knee I mean!best thing to do is to go swimming as that will really help the joints. If you can't swim there's always synchronised sinking.
Jams
You will get your muscle tone back quicker than you think. In four days I was walking without crutches. In about two weeks no brace. Two months back to normal.
Congratulations on getting the cast removed. Yes, let's have a picture of that awesome scar!
Let me put it this way:
I do believe how you feel.
why can I say so?
my doctor prescribed some "pills" to take when my "might be" podagra hurts my right foot to hard.
i might recall, my right big toe?
it still hurts, so i should prevent walking tooo much. But that's hard, now in the spring.
I wanna go out and walk...
Got some exciting news, that can be intepreted on my last WW.
Besides - 2 of my 3 laptops did have disk crash (back-up of every files) - but 4 days with only my private PC - ggrr - also had to be used at work - with 12-14 hours workingdays for the present moment - no time for blogging.
-----
Hope you will be in ship shape asap.
greetings from
Norway
I've had 4 knee surgeries all on the same knee (yes, I have given up snow skiing, thank you very much), so maybe we can compare scars some day. Do your rehab!!!
Oh I am doing my rehab! Doing my exercises religiously. I look forward to comparing scars!
