The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Here's three videos from one of my favourite artists
Good voice; excellent guitar work. The ensemble number may not be your favorite, but Stella will really appreciate the blues-harp (harmonica) solo in the middle. Thanks for posting this, jams.
My hippie/folkie wanna be daughter, Sunbum, and I are sitting here enjoying Beeswing. The other two didn't do it for me lyrically, but the guitar playing and melody is simply amazing. Sunbum says he has very nimble fingers. I've never heard of him before now. Is he Irish, by any chance?
