Assud - who said in his first episode that he would “get rid of the Jews, Allah willing, and… will eat them up” - replaced his brother, Nahoul the Bee, according to the translation from the Middle East Media Research Institute. In an interview with the program’s host, a young girl purportedly named Saraa Barhoum, Assud talked about martyrdom.
"We are all martyrdom-seekers, are we not, Saraa?” Assud said on the show. Saraa said: “Of course we are. We are all ready to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of our homeland. We will sacrifice our souls and everything we own for the homeland."
According to the program’s plotline, Nahoul died because he could not leave Gaza to seek medical treatment from neighbouring Egypt. Nahoul himself replaced the program’s original star, Farfur the Mouse, who was “killed by an Israeli soldier”.
Again I shake my head in disbelief. That’s not entertainment it’s just plain sick.

And noone burning flags. O tempora, o mores.

This is what Utopians of all stripes
do and must do. Utopians need the other as they can not deliver on promises. All theocracies must be totalitarian and Utopian to survive. They depend on passion as opposed to coherent policies.
An extreme example of this in action is the BAATHIST regime in Syria's hyper Israel and America obsessions fed to a basket case of a country for decades. This distraction has allowed a Non Muslim clique (Alawites) to run an
apartheid state where 11% of the population governs the remainder.
This is done under the illusion of Pan Arabism.
Somehow burning flags after that would be an anticlimax Sean....
Syria is fucked. The first thing it should do is make peace with Israel. Unlikely I know but peace brings stability and prosperity.
This is atrocious. Dreams of democracy and peace in the Middle East will never be reached because the powers that be know that to control a people you control and brainwash the children. Been done many times before.
On a sidenote: I stopped letting my kids watch Sesame Street because they began pushing same sex marriage families, puppets with HIV, and had special guest star appearances from cast members of the violent and bloddy Mafia drama, The Sopranos.
Kids have to learn about these things eventually. I'd prefer it be from their parents when they're mature enough to understand and not when they're pre-school age, for crap's sake!
Sadly so EWBL. It sickens me to see young minds poisoned like that.
As for Seame Street. Things have changed! I'm not sure a Soprano is appropriate on a young child's show. Personally I would like children to be children - something that seems to be harder and harder.
When I was a kid in the sixties, my dad was stationed in Washington, DC. I remember seeing the Black Panthers selling newspapers. The Panthers did lots of community-building activities, and gave kids coloring books showing the police as pigs. Any time adults try to foment ethnic hatred or religious hatred with children and young people, it is evil.
As far as Sesame Street goes, at least they are teaching kids to accept others rather than kill those different from themselves.
Ugh another example of poisoning minds. As for sesame street, good point r. The message is love rather than hate. THe issue may be the delivery
