The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I love what you've done here. It's gorgeous.
Wow...you are very creative!
The Hebe is fabulous! I love flowers!
Before scrolling down to the second picture, I thought the first picture was of fireworks! Beautiful flowers :) Very vibrant!
How beautiful. What great shots. Have a wonderful WW. :)
You are lucky to have some flowers now. That is a dandy dandelion ;)
Is that the same picture, before, and after? Very well done!
I think the dandelion looks rather like a firework and the Hebe makes me wish for a bit of colour in my garden!
Yes, the 1st photo looked like a firework. Happy WW.
Great shots! Happy WW.
Oh! Cool! It looks like fireworks.I also love the Hebe untouched. Very nice.
Simply gorgeous. I want to pick them and hold them and smell them.
It is SO not fair that you've got flowers blooming already!! Geez, I'd give anything for a yard full of dandelions right now!
I can appreciate the Hebe, the dandilion, well?? My imagination is good, but visualization is very poor for me.Good picks though, and Happy WW&WT!..
I love the abstract dandelion and the hebe(is that what it's called?) Beautiful pictures! :)
Hmm just as well you labeled it then as I thought I was in outer space for a moment. Jasmine's in full bloom here, very heady stuff.Cheers
Oh i had a dandelion this week too as my only garden bloom but i changed it You made it awesome w/ my favorite color
cool, very pretty and complicated flower!! ;)
The first picture looks like fireworks on a dark night!

Abstract dandelion = awesome. And the Hebe is very nice too.Happy WW
I like both the original and the manipulation. The abstract version lends itself to all sorts of interesting interpretations.
I've never seen a dandelion quite like that before. Lovely. Happy WW.
I love the abstract dandelion, it's really cool!
I thought of fireworks when I saw the first picture, lol.Lovely dandelions, both of them !
Like Mar, I though of it as fireworks at first. :-)It's a lovely flower shot. I also have another flower here. Thanks for your visit at VERB.

Great. It's nice to see new kinds of flowers, I am not sure if we have dandelions and hebes on this side of the planet :D

The dandelion looks like fireworks. :DSerena
That is a neat contrast shot. It makes the flower look completely different:) Happy WW and thanks for stopping by.
Infrared Dandelion sounds like a kick ass title for a spy movie!
First shot is really creative and I love it! Looks like fireworks! The second is exquisite, I love the delicacy and detail you have captured here.
They are both nice, but I prefer the manipulated picture it looks like a modern painting !
BEautiful as always.
I thought the first one was a photo of fireworks! LOL.
My daughter asked me JUST THIS WEEK, when will the dandelions be in our yard? She is looking forward to a weed many gardeners dislike. But we go out in the yard, make wishes and blow on those lovley puffy little plants. And spread the 'dandelion love' ALL around the neighborhood!Jen
Well, I must admit I thought the first picture was from an artistic Fireworks. It's amazing how we can manipulate photos these days.Great entry
I guess we all thought the first one was fireworks...beautiful!
I love the 1st one ... reminded me of fireworks too.
I love the way both of them look like fireworks. I always enjoy seeing similar forms repeat themselves in the world.

Interesting flowers!Thank you for your visit to bosoxmommy.com!
The part I love about "highly processed" photos, especially of flowers, is that you are often able to see patterns of shapes that are not visible in the natural state. Like this one. Great work. Thank you for visiting my WW.
