The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
But there is this great new song that my oldest daughter and I love that talks about Joy Division. The lyrics are "Let's dance to Joy Division and celebrate the irony!"
THey were very sombre and of a time. Some of their songs are superb. Atmosphere re,mains one of my all time favourite songs. Others do sound pretty dated now. Haha that's a good song. I too enjoy the irony!
