Great shot! I can never get good close-ups of insects or flowers. I need a better camera, and skills I think.

Happy WW :)

oh wow ... this is gorgeous!

For some reason it reminds me of a goose head. Perhaps the thin stem, large head, and scraggly feather-like hair do that.

Happy WW for the week!

BTW, you blog has something really slow for my computer to open. For a while it had gotten better, but now is worse again.
Instead of seconds, it was minutes, almost five.

I'm waiting for that flower, too, to see what it looks like. Love that fur. Almost like pussywillow fur.

What a fascinating looking bud and a wonderful photo of it. Hope you will share the "finished product" when it blossoms.

Outstanding photo. Is this a later shot of the one several posts down the page? Or is it a different individual at a later stage? In either case, it's terrific.

THanks everyone, The two buds are different. They are just in slightly different stages of development.

WOW-awesome shot! It looks so stark against the black background. Lovely. I had to look up what Cephalaria was, though--I'm not much of a flower buff--and it will be beautiful when it blooms, too!

Happy WW!
