The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Kay, you may not be aware but this piece is performed in one take - no over dubs. Ed uses a serious of loopbacks which allows him to build the tune up layer on layer - he often busks in Liverpool and Chester and to see him perform live is a sheer joy, oh and he's a nice guy to chat to as well.
