The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Darya Dadvar in London next month
At long last I get the chance to see Paris-based Iranian singer Darya Dadvar in concert. Darya will be performing at Bush Hall in London on June 7. I can't wait!
