The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I bet you didn't know I have pirate blood in me? For starters, beer and rum are my favorite drinks. And in my lifetime I've worn my share of thigh-high boots, corsets, and push-up devices designed to maximize my treasure chest.
