The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Definitely a narcissist!
I put a pic of ours up today - they have been out almost a week.
Beautiful! All I have is a layer of snow that arrived yesterday.
And proudly posing for you...
Yours were quicker, Jams. No daffodils in Seanhenge, yet. Seems they are determined to act ontheir German name - Osterglocken (Easterbells).
I love daffodils!!!!!! Haven't seen any here though!
Thanks everyone, I;m just glad to see them at last!
The ones in my front garden are just emerging too :-) I love spring.
It gladdens the heart to see spring sprung eh?
ours are a week or two away. How long before Bebe digs it up.
She's far too ladylike for that!
daffodils are so cheerful with their happy yellow smiling faces
That's true. They cheer me up no end
Interesting star shape on this flower. Well composed and exposed. I am happy to see it.
Thanks DFP
