The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I would love to spend the day in your holly garden
It would be minutes Ann! Sadly my garden is very small
The aesthete in me says "yes! yes! yes!" to this glorious scene, but the hayfever sufferer says "Dear God, no!". A fine photo, nevertheless...
I'm glad you like it Egg, hayfever notwithstanding
It looks very pretty :-)
Thanks Cherie... that's my garden for you!
It's beautiful. One thing I'll surely miss when we leave the PNW is the English garden nature of the place. Then again, I do like gorse :-)
I'm sure Nova Scotia has its own beauty. It may be different to the Pacific NW but still beautiful!
