The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Just front of my door yesterday the were hoops of snow resembling onion rings. The hoops had been left by next doors cats. They has walked across my snowy lawn and collected snow on their paws and legs.
As they padded across the path the snow fell in little hoops. It made me smile :-)

Felines will be fools not to stay out of the snow. Which they aren't.
Absolutely!
Actually you own a Maine Coon Cat that
appears stuck on the couch. So much for selective breeding of cats for snow resistance.
Actually it hasn't stopped him visiting the little sod
