The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Aww! lovely :-)
An old soul!
What no Bibi or Not Wife with Robyn?
He should be at his club snoozing in a leather chair by the fireplace with a brandy sniffer on a small table next to him.A very dignified elder statescat.
Cherie, Nevin he is a ear old fellow and gentle. He spends his days out at the moment Beakerkin! Now that sounds like the perfect place for him Bryan!
Ah, Robyn,Gentle Robyn,...Robyn looks every bit as relaxed and serene here as Ted looks threatening in most pictures. I suppose being 15 years old and the biggest cat on the lot gives him a sense of security.(The opening lines are from a centuries-old round; you can probably google them.)
THat's wonderful Steve. I will have to look that round up. Basically he is a cat pretty much at peace with the world
Well he's hangin' in there isn't he? Looks like a wise old bird this one. Good lookin' fella.
He's still doing very nicely Mojo
Fifteen?! Dat's a good number. Happy Purrfday to him!
He had a pleasant day although one that was no different to his other days!
