The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Numbers Station Lincolnshire Poacher
This is a transmission of a now defunct numbers station operated by MI6 out of Cyprus. Presumably these numbers have some meaning to recipients...Either that or it is a piece of transcontinental performance art!
