Good idea! Just put the mask of someone you dislike, and pin the chest as much as you need...

I can see Stephen Harper cushions going down well!

Not with me, Jams. In my old age, I became a lot more conservative than liberal. Hard to believe that at 18, my "débutante" party was to meet Prime Minister Mackenzie King, at a ball, in Chateau Laurier, Ottawa. All arranged by my mother who was a staunch liberal, and an active politician, at a time when very few women would dare raise their voices!

She probably would disown me today. I didn't even have the courage to tell my sisters, in Quebec, that I voted for Harper.

Many do Claude If I lived in Canada I would probably have voted NDP.

At least Harper and his minister of finance weren't vandals in their yoouth and his deputy does not have an arson conviction.

Cameron, Osborne - Bullingdon club, a bunch of rich hooligans

Clegg got drunk and burned down a greenhouse containing a priceless cactus collection

Yes! you're in a mess in England.

The NDP did a great service to Canada in the last Federal Election. Quebec voted for Layton. And it kicked the French Separatists out of Ottawa.

NDP has always been good at providing policies which are honest and helpful. specially for people in need. But they're very much affiliated with Workers'Unions. I voted for the party, once, at a Provincial Election. It won. But Bob Rae (who was then their leader) didn't know how to govern. The Unions took over. Ontario really got into a sad mess. Maybe Layton would have done better in the future. But he is gone now. And his party is lost without his vision and his determination. Bob Rae, has switched party and is now the Liberal leader! How can anyone trust him?

Prime Minister Harper is our best hope presently. We can't live in the past, or in a possible future. We have to look at what we have at the moment, and put someone in charge who will stand on his feet, and govern.

I try to tell this to my sisters. No success!

The PQ got a hammering didn't they? It s a great shame Layton died. As for Rae I doubt he has much credibility

Actually, we just had Provincial Elections in Ontario. I voted for the NDP leader, Andrea Horwath, a bright, sensible young woman. She got 17 seats. Just enough to stop the Liberals from having a majority Government again. And it stopped the Province from having a Conservative Premier. With a Conservative Prime Minister, and a Conservative Mayor (Ford) who cuts down everything, from Libraries to Garbage Collections) it would have been disastrous to be BLUE everywhere.

Andrea is so smart. She will keep the other two parties on alert and well behaved. I have great hopes for her.
