The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Mimi puts on her war face
Robyn looks at her when she pulls such a face and gives her his "ooh I'm scared" look. For the Friday Ark and Carnival of the Cats (see sidebar)
I have to admit something. I find black lips mesmerizing and very Robert Smithish. Now, if you could just get Mimi to croon melancholy meow songs and act despondent all the time, she just might have a career.
Ah Baeth, she might just be thinking that! I am sure she has a plan and that involves dining on either myself or the not wife.. perhaps it involves dining on both of us!
Singing Love cats ewbl?hO would love to hear her sing Killing an Arab or Charlotte Sometimes!

If looks could kill........
Forget Robyn, I'm scared too!
Again anarcatism.
ewbl, Bryan I suppose Robyn takes one look at her ahd sees an animal les than half his size and is simply unimpressed by her posture!
Actuallly she is pretty fearless.. Things that send the others cats scuttling for the catflap don't faze her at all!
In this case Ren I think she is definitely an anarcat!
I like the look. You sure that kitty wasn't eyeing your jugular ?

Oh oh...its the Dirty Harry look!
...you've got to ask yourself a question. Do I feel lucky? Well do you, punk?
LOL, very much a "Go on Punk, make my day" look!
Cats are ALWAYS in control. :)
That face scares ME, and I'm not easily scared by any look a cat points at me!
I have a baroque violinist friend in Amsterdam named Mimi. She isn't catty at all, but she does scrape catgut for a living...
(Yes, I know, catgut comes from sheep.)
The YDD
Ah poor Mimi!.. I totally misrepresent the nature of my cats with my pics..
Mimi was named after a Jane Siberry song Mimi on the Beach.. It seems such an appropriate name for her.
A very eloquent expression of disapproval! What in the world were you doing!!??
I was breathing!
Brilliant - it's the assassin look!
The funny thing is that she is as frightening as a toddler going boo! She is an utter sweetie though
