The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I called in oldest daughter Sunbum to take that in. She's "EMO-lite" meaning that I forbade her from wearing black eyeliner or goth clothes but she does flop her hair, wear black nail polish and listen to Fall Out Boy. So predictable. The New Age Of New Wavers!
I'll have to send you the link to her EMO blog. Her playlist is chock full of EMO music interspersed with tracks from usicals and Christian rock.

Oh no she's turned emo? Ah it's one of those things which really has passed me by... I can't see much scope for a 44 year old emo!
