The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Billy Bragg sings the praises of the A13
In addition to his musical endeavours William Bragg found time to win the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1915

Grandfather?
Either a namesake, Billy invented a time machine, or Billy is immortal. For 2 and 3 Billy's interext in crystallography paid off!
