I might be able to get a translation, Jams. On Feb.20, I went to a rally organised by a Canadian-Libyan doctor. Presently, in Libya, it's not only a human crisis but also a medical one. Many protestors have been wounded and there is a shortage of medical supplies to treat them. After the meeting at Yonge-Dundas Square (Toronto), my cane and I walked on Yonge Street with the expatriates. The sign I carried said:
Libya, Libya will be free
From the desert to the sea.
We hope....But the people are so worried about family and friends. They're saying that Gadhafi is very strong. They're wondering by democratic governements are not speaking louder to help the protestors.

The people of Libya deserve liberation from that shithead Ghaddafi. Everything death he has caused in his bid to cling to power will be paid back with interest.
The tragic past of this is the suffering the people have to endure but I hope they prevail.
This evening, the Canadian Prime Minister just froze millions of dollars Gadhafi has in our financial institutions. He wanted to get all the money out this Monday morning. Of course, he must have billions stashed in other countries.
What the people were saying, Jams, is that it's safe to protest in Canada. Not one of us was sure we would have the courage to do it in Libya.
The same here too Claude. There is a lot more that can be done to support the protestors short of military intervention.
We are extremely fortunate not to be gunned down here and in Canada
