The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
And banish her it does.I walk through the snow barefoot ...
Very unfair to Céline. This song (and voice) are out of this world...
This is kd lang at her very best Jameskd is another Canadian treasure Claude
That K.D. Lang song did nothing for me. A bite tuneless and awkward, I thought. On that evidence I'd prefer to listen to Celine. Am I going to get excommunicated from The Poor Mouth now? (or have Other Nephew set upon me with his hammer?)
A "bit" tuneless even..., not "bite" (are typos contagious?)
AH H I have toled other nephew to select a choice of hammers and some other, more interesting tools for your discomfort!
It's not my favourite KD song, but she has such a beautiful seductive voice. Why don't you post something from Ingenue too?
God idea nursie. Season of hollow soul should fit the bill
"toled"?is that a mixture of "told" and "tooled up"?
It's far worse than either
