Fame at last - well not really, but.....

A little while ago I had an email exchange with the planning editor from the ITV news programme London Tonight regarding the use of a couple of photos of damage to the Debenhams store in Romford during Romford's version of the riots that swept many of our cities earlier this month.

There wasn't much damage as you can see

The photos are to be used on London tonight at 6pm (BST).  I guess the story will be in relation to the conviction of an 11 year old who stole a dustbin during the disturbances. Hardly crime central but he deserves punishment.

It'll probably be a case of blink and you'll miss them but I am quite pleased!

Well done Jams. Just a wee example of where taking the initiative can get you (I mean you taking the pictures not the delinquent stealing the bin).

Do you want me to get my hoodie on and kick in a Romford window by arrangement so you can get a good shot to sell? Oh... heck, that was a JOKE police snoopers, a JOKE. Not an incitement to riot. Anyway, you have plenty photos of the washing line lady clothes thief to sell already.

Thanks Andrew. I understand though that your comment has been logged and after a lengthy waterboarding you will be off to Guantanamo!

If I were you I would seek sanctuary in Glen Ted!

After supplying them with much fine Tay salmon the Scottish Ted clones have become my partners in crime... so the cops wouldn't dare touch me.

Ah be careful. They have a taste for fine old malts too. So stock up on the 40 year old Springbank if you don't want to take the place of the salmon!

Hey, congrats, Jams - you are going places. Next stop at Nat Geo, only you'll have to find some more tragic object then Boris. Not that I have anything to say against the lad.
