The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Boris is priceless! I LOVE other people's cats! ;-) I owned a total of five cats and once lived with a cat woman who owned ten or more. There was a time when there was a six kitten litter, though all but one were given away. They were what I call "all-over" cats - outside, inside, all over anything and everything. Toooooooo many cats! There is a sweet cat story for very little kids that features a Boris:http://us.macmillan.com/mamacathasthreekittensHave a great weekend!
We've has six cats since being in the house. Two are dead and are buried in the garden. We can't imagine a house without at least a couple of cats lolling around!Boris is a sleepy kitten? Sounds like the Boris who uses us s servants!
Looks more like Boris gets ready to kill!
I love it! Simi says "woof!"
Hopefully he is in a good mood!
He seems to say,"Is this that boring world again? Better do something about it!"
Haha Alison he is a softy reallyBoris says RRROOOAAWWW in return Welshcakes. He does not have the sweetest of voices!Ah he was CherieAh so true. After he stretched and yawned he promptly went back to sleep!
And it looks like he has something to say!
Aye it was I'm tired and I want to go back to sleep!
"Am gonna jump on your face and scratch it mate, and...Oh.... yawn....maybe after another wee nap."
Boris is a gem, unquestionably.
Haha Andrew that was the essence of it!Oh he definitely is!
Boris only looks ready to spring into action to people who don't live with cats. That is the posture of a cat preparing for serious sleep after a test nap to be sure he's ready. It's a lot like a long distance runner stretching before the start of the real race.
That is true Bryan. He hardly sprang into action afterwards! But then Boris would be described lazy by other cats!
