Photo Hunt - Small

The subject for this week's entry for Photo Hunt is small. Here is a Morning Glory from the height of (a rather wet) summer. It blooms in the morning and is usually dead by the afternoon. It may have a small life (well okay it should be short, strictly speaking) but it is large in terms of pleasure

Wonderful shot of the morning glory. I love morning glories so much that in the summer I go outside early just to photograph them.

I have a love/hate relationship with morning glories. When I had my house up in the north east they just about pulled down my fence. I was constantly pulling them out of my roses and other flowering bushes. Once they start growing, you just can't seem to stop or constrain them! On the other hand they're just so darn pretty!

That reminds me of the rampant 5 o'clocks my mother used to have around a patio. I could sit there for hours in the afternoon, just drinking in the fragrance.

Small or short-lived it's still a gorgeous photo Jams. The only morning glory I have in my garden are the nasty weedy types which I cannot get rid of and have an ordinary white flower.

Morning Glory....is that a nickname the not-wife gave you? Papi would likely call me The Beast Of The Rising Sun.

I'm partial to purple flora and this is a really exsquisite photo!

Very colorful, vibrant, and beautiful.
I'd love to have flowers like these in my yard, but unfortunately all plants hate me, and none of them stay alive for very long when I try to care for them.
Well, I take that back. Not ALL plants hate me. Weeds seem to thrive in my presence. LOL. :)
