Great stuff from the archives jams...
I love the evocation of music that was created before the music press could pigeonhole it. Ultravox were soon to become 'New Romantic' I guess, but when these tracks were created they were just 'out there'

The early Ultravox is marvellous. There's something about John Foxx. His solo stuff was excellent too and he's still going strong - we saw him last year and he was well worth seeing.

I had a soft spot for the Midge Ure fronted Ultravox too. Vienna was an excellent album. The following albums were not as good but they certainly ahd their moments.

Thank You Thank You Thank You Thank You for the very nice Christmas card, jams and not-wife!

I haven't sent out any cards at all yet this year. Maybe I'll have to settle for sending people Happy News Year greetings or best wishes on Groundhog's Day.

Ah that sounds great. They were an edgy band that mutated into a wonderful pop band.

As for the card, you're welcome Ewbl!
